Our bride, Ashley, had a definite vision for her tent wedding at Belcroft Estates. Romantic and floral. I love this vision!
Ashley and I met to discuss all the elements that would comprise her design palette. This included draping, linens, centrepieces, table numbers, candles, vinyl floor decal, and dressing up the outdoor arbor.

The Bridal Bouquet
Ashley was looking for a loose, organic-feeling bouquet, with muted tones and classic flowers. So we designed a hand-tied bouquet with standard Sahara roses, Chablis spray roses, O'Hare and Patience garden roses, soft pink Astilbe, and the whimsical Ranunculus. For a subtle touch of blue we included a few Thistles. Foliage woven throughout the bouquet was a mix of Dusty Miller, Olive, and Silver Dollar and Seeded eucalyptus. The stems are wrapped in a double faced Antique White satin ribbon.
The Bridesmaids bouquets were designed to complement the Bride, but to have a bit of their own style. We incorporated a bit more rich colour into these bouquets with the use of Burgundy Astrantia and a great last minute discovery at the flower market of Burgundy Hibiscus foliage.
The Table Top
We decided on a very classy linen combo of a floor-length taffeta tablecloth in Latte with a beautifully finished Chantilly Lace runner. To pick up all the white accents in the tent, we used a crisp white, Egyptian cotton napkin.
The centrepieces were designed in sweet little oval, gold glass, footed dishes. These dishes complemented the gold table numbers. Groupings of glass stemmed candle holders with floating candles, added to the airy feel of the table top design.
The pristine wedding lawn at Belcroft has a gorgeous, oversized white wedding arbor. We accented this focal spot with rambling greenery, large sprays of flowers (which were designed to be used again on the head table), and draping with soft white organza on the front and a touch of glamour at the back with hanging crystal curtains.
The aisle had subtle, but incredibly sweet, hanging vases filled with babies breath and pearls. After the ceremony, these were placed on the numerous iron bistro tables that Belcroft has set around the dramatic outdoor fire place and patio.
The head table is the focus for every wedding, and should never be overlooked with decor is concerned. So we draped out behind the length of the table using clean white, gathered draping, to complement the white tent interior. The head table linens added another touch of glamour with the white sequin cloths. We added taper candles, decorated vases to hold all the bouquets, and placed the arbor flowers and trailing greenery across the front.
The tent at Belcroft has a perfect dance floor for adding on a vinyl decal, and many couples choose to do this. Ashley choose that option as well.
